・Billy Lee Tipton
Billy was an American jazz musician, who was born as a female. She was raised by his aunt after her parent's divorce. She concealed her female body by breast binding which means flattening breasts using a particular material.  At first, she cross-dressed and presented herself as a woman, however, soon she lived on as a man in both her performance and her private life. She got into a relationship with a stripper named Kitty, kept the secret of her sexuality, and adopted three sons.  After Billy's death was when her son found out that his own father was a female.


・Aya Kamikawa
Aya used to be a writter before he became the Tokyo municipal official. He submitted his election application paper with a blank space for 'sex'. Aya was elected in 2003 and he is the first transexual person to seek elected office in Japan.  Government announced that they would continue to consider him as male but she refused and claimed to be considered as female.  His platform is to improve rights for women, children, elderly and the handicapped people.
